The Come Bet acts just like a Pass Line Bet with the only difference that Come Bets can only be placed after a point has been established. Actually, there’s no Come Bet on the come-out roll as placing such a bet would be exactly the same as making a Pass Line Bet.

If you want to place a Come Bet after a point (e.g. 5) has been established, you just place your chips on the ‘Come’ area of the layout and wait for the next roll. If the next roll is a 7 or 11 you win and the shooter loses. If the next roll is 2, 3 or 12 (craps) you lose.
Any other number rolled becomes your Come point. In this case, you only win if your Come point is rolled before 7. For instance, if your Come point is 8 and number 8 is rolled before number 7 you win. Otherwise you lose.

Odds can be placed only after the Come point has been established.
